This coalition has 25 members and is one of the seven HMC2010 Community Health Improvement Committees.  The coalition is supported by part-time staff person.  The mission of the Manitowoc County Tobacco Control Coalition is to reduce the negative impact of tobacco use on the residents of Manitowoc County.  The coalition partners with the community to decrease youth initiation, implementation of the smokefree law, and increase sustainability of tobacco control programs.

Coalition Goals:

• Train students in FACT (Fighting Against Corporate Tobacco)
• Assist police with WI WINS (tobacco compliance checks)
• Provide NOT (Not on Tobacco) Cessation programs.
• Acheive 2 smoke free facilities each year (GOAL ACCOMPLISHED)
• Help businesses with implementation of the smoke-free law.
